Quicksilver Board
Am I nuts or was there a game in the late 70’s early 80’s called quicksilver that cotnained mercury?
I can find no mention of it on google or yahoo. I could have sworn that there was basically a plastic maze and that you would drip some mercury into it and attempt to guide the mercury through the maze by tilting the board. Anyone have a web reference for this game?
I don’t know about a “game” per se, but there were definitely mazes with mercury beads instead of the metal beads that are used today. You could shake them up to spread the mercury, and then beads would re-form due to the high surface tension of mercury. I don’t know the dates that they were available, but I would think pre-1970’s. That’s just a guess, since much was know about the dangers of mercury by the 70’s. One of my family members still has one of these mazes. It’s completely sealed, so the user does not come in contact with the mercury!

Mens Board Shorts
Boardshorts are typically the most preferred choice of beach wear for most guys.
