How good are the duke blue devils basketball team?
This year could be considered a transition period, with no scholarship senior and with All-Americans Shelden Williams and JJ Redick in the NBA now. However, the Blue Devils are doing quite well at 6th in the AP Poll. DeMarcus Nelson has finally stepped into a leadership role and scores a lot of points while freshmen John Scheyer and Brian Zoubek are adding a spark to the team. Since Redick and Williams are gone, their offense can be a bit sluggish, but their defense has helped them win their games. Their record right now is 9 wins and 1 loss (to Marquette).

Four games into the 2007-2008 season, The 2008 season saw the Demons with certain record, but there were high points in the year, then ranked #15 nationally and ultimately a member of the NCAA Sweet Sixteen .
